Indonesia has suspended its plans to deploy up to 8,000 troops to the Palestinian enclave of Gaza, a cabinet member announced on Tuesday. “Everything is on hold,” Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said after a coordination meeting at the Defense Ministry, Antara News reported on Wednesday. NEW | Israeli Occupation Forces Kill Palestinian Family of Four, Including Two Children, in West Bank Israeli occupation forces killed four members of the Bani Odeh family, including two children, after opening fire on their car in the town of Tamoun in the occupied West Bank as they returned from buying Eid clothes. The victims were Mohammed (5), Othman (7), who was blind and had special needs, their mother Waad Bani Odeh (35), and their father Ali Bani Odeh (37), all shot in the head and face, according to Palestinian medical authorities. Two other brothers survived the attack with injuries. One of them, 11-year-old Khaled, said Israeli occupation forces dragged him from the wreckage after the shooting, beat him, and mocked the killing of his family. Witnesses reported that the attackers were an undercover Israeli unit using a vehicle with Palestinian license plates and opened fire without warning. Ambulances were initially prevented from reaching the scene. The Palestinian Foreign Ministry described the attack as an extrajudicial execution, warning that escalating Israeli military and settler violence forms part of a broader campaign targeting Palestinian civilians and communities across the occupied territory. #Israel #Palestine #Gaza #WestBank #Palestinian

Approximately 45 members of the UK Parliament and House of Lords signed a letter urging Britain to issue a formal apology for the 1917 Balfour Declaration. The letter condemned the historical violations committed by Britain during its mandate in Palestine from 1917 to 1948. Among the signatories were Liberal Democrat MP Layla Moran, Labour MP Nadia Whittome, and Green Party MP Carla Denyer.
